Model Description

General Comments
Minnie Gupta is a Midwestern-turned California girl who gets her exotic features from her Indian Immigrant parents--her mother from Bihar and Father from Uttar Pradesh. She was raised in a loving but fairly conservative home. She excelled in school early on but always had a love for being onstage--through out her youth she trained and performed in both western and Indian dance (her mother being a popular Indian dance instructor in her community).

Around the age of thirteen Minnie says, "I soon realized I would have to quit Science Club and become a cheerleader if I ever hoped to have a boyfriend." Her transformation was fairly worrisome to her parents but set her on the path to fulfill her lifelong dream in the entertainment industry.

"I never had much doubt of what I wanted to do--I've known it since I could first speak," Minnie writes. This desire stayed with her as she grew up and she first emerged in the industry as a model and pinup girl.

"I've always been more comfortable in front of a camera then in front of a person," says Minnie. "Sometimes the old shyness creeps on--I get nervous with eye contact. But put a camera on me and I come alive."

Minnie Gupta is now based in Hollywood, California where she continues to model and recently began acting in films as well--which of course, had been her plan all along.
